Touch points…SOLC ‘22 (19/31)

We all interact with people each day. Sometimes that interaction is brief; a nod, a wave, a quick hello. Sometimes those interactions are longer and more meaningful. When we work side by side with coworkers, teach students, care for children, parents or neighbors.

These interactions are touch points. Points in our days where we can touch someone. We can touch them with a kind word, we can touch them with a smile. We can touch them by doing a kind deed for them. We can touch them by listening, by simply showing up in their lives.

Who do you need to show up for today? Who are the people that make up the touch points in your life? Are you present enough to even realize your daily touch points?

We need each other. We need to show up for each other, be present, even in small ways today.

  1. Yes, we need to show up for each other. It is the little kindness acts that make me know that there are others around me that care. I am glad that you brought up touch points – people who make a difference and those we lean on.
