Today I took my parents hiking. We went to a state park about 10 minutes away from my house. It is absolutely beautiful with jutting red rock formations coming straight up from the ground, piercing the clear blue sky. It almost looks otherworldly. It makes you stop and look, breathing at all in.
I took a picture of my parents snapping their own pictures, looking ahead of them in awe and wonder at the beautiful rock formations and sites around them. It was a precious memory to capture and one that I will hold in my heart for quite a long time.
We’ve only been here for about eight weeks and the first few weeks we were here, we would stop and often take pictures of the mountains around us. We were in complete awe and wonder at the beautiful sites around us.
I hope we never lose that sense of awe and wonder. I hope we can look around us every single day and think about how beautiful the world is. How special are the people in our world.

If your eyes could drink the site before you it would overflow with rivers of tears…
